Step Twelve: Service
Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Having worked the previous eleven Steps, we arrive at the culmination and ongoing practice of the Al-Anon program. Step Twelve states that "Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others, and to practice these principles in all our affairs".
