Step Three: Faith
Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
Having admitted in Step One that we are powerless over alcoholism and that our lives have become unmanageable, and having come to believe in Step Two that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity, we arrive naturally at Step Three. Step Three states that we "Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him".
